Dr. R. Nagaraja completed his Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Mysore University in the year 1986 and obtained his Master’s degree from Indian Institute of Science (IISc.), Bangalore in the year 1988, specialized in Computer Applications to Power Systems and Drives. He worked for M/s. MACMET India Ltd., Simulation Division, Bangalore, for 4 years from 1988 to 1991, where he headed the Power System group.
Dr. Nagaraja was awarded Doctorate for his work titled “Development of algorithm for applications in energy control centers” by world-renowned Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He started M/s. Power Research & Development Consultants Pvt. Ltd. at Bangalore in 1994. This was his humble debut in the field of Power System and eventually emerged as one of the reputed Power System Consultants internationally. Today PRDC® is one among the largest power system consultants in Asia.
His specializations include Parallel Computing, Power System Analysis, Simulation, SCADA Systems and Energy Management Systems, Development of Algorithms for Real-Time Power System Simulation and Control, Power Engineering Education and Power System Protection. Dr. R Nagaraja has authored several technical papers and conducted a number of workshops, conferences, seminars throughout the world.
Dr. Nagaraja is the brain behind the architecture, design and development of the MiPower™ – Power system analysis software, which is PRDC®’s flagship product widely, used by Electric utilities, Industries, Consultants and Universities / Engineering colleges globally.
Dr. Nagaraja is the Senior Member, IEEE and currently representative for IEEE PES West Chapters under R-10. He was the Convener and Co-Chair of prestigious international event – ISGT (Innovative Smart Grid Technologies) Asia 2013 conference held at Bangalore.
Mr. Mukund Parthasarathy is the Director of PRDC® since its formation. Currently he heads the Quality and Process Engineering group in the Organization.
His earlier role includes heading Embedded Systems and Automation division. He has lead projects teams and managed multiple client accounts on diversified projects from Hardware, software firmware and automation systems. Worked in all stages of project execution from creating enquiry, concept – realization of product and solutions. As a Director he has been continuously involved in creation of business value and business opportunities by identification of customer problems and creating solution by using right technology by leveraging partnerships and domain specialists, competition analysis, concept/service selling.
His role also involves in complete ownership of end to end solutions architecture and delivery for complex SI including estimations, pricing, negotiations and deal structuring, enterprise, customer interactions, developing innovative service offerings.
Currently as the Head of Quality and Process Engineering group, he is involved in implementation of quality process guidelines in the organization. He heads the process implementation team which takes care of Quality Certifications in the organization.
He is a certified Quality Auditor and has worked on various quality process and development methodologies like waterfall model, AGILE & SCRUM Model.
In his technical career, he has also been involved in development of many real-time applications for manufacturing and process industries. He has worked on many communication technologies and protocol standards. He has also worked on few re-engineering projects early in his career. He has worked extensively in automation using Excel VBA and has developed Project Management and Portfolio Management dashboards in Excel.
His interests besides technical and quality includes branding strategy, knowledge management and open source tools and technologies.
Mrs. Mamatha Hedge is the Director and heads the HR and Finance department fulfilling functions such as recruiting, planning, payroll, compensation structuring, process design, budgeting, employee engagement, employee welfare & benefits and finance. She holds a degree in commerce from Bangalore University. She has over 15 years of industry experience and joined PRDC® as a full time director. Her earlier contributions were to set up the functions of Human Resources and taking over the Accounts and Finance responsibilities.
Mrs. Mamatha Hegde is passionate professional and has been contributing for the growth of the organization year on year, bringing in new ideas, technology and thoughts. She took challenges to bring in better processes for planning, budgeting, recruiting, policy formulation mainly to build the employee brand. With her strong determination and dedication, she built an efficient and effective Performance Management System that suits our organization. She is responsible for initiatives such as automation of payroll processing, implementation of the state-of-the-art attendance monitoring system, recruitment management systems, online campus recruitment and other modules that automate the HR functions.
She is a specialist in communications, negotiation, recruitment, assessment, employee engagement, attrition management, crisis management and employee satisfaction. She does impeccable planning to ensure business continuity. Her remarkable contribution also includes, restructuring the organization to meet business objectives to make it flatter for higher level of communication, for quick service and faster decision making. Under her leadership the support functions are majorly improved in bringing all the employees in one roof.
Mrs. Mamatha Hedge is open to embrace new ideas and thoughts that are tried, tested and one that come from certified sources in the industry. She truly believes that profitability of the organization does not lie only with the marketing, sales, research or technology team, but with few HR interventions and employee engagement programs for which, she is currently exploring opportunities.
Shri Kiran Poojary has been associated with SIDBI Venture Capital Limited (SVCL) since 2003. He currently holds the position of Asst. Vice President. At SVCL, he has been involved in evaluation of investment opportunities, investments, finance and accounts and handles additional responsibilities of administration, vigilance, compliance & HR. He is/has been Nominee Director on the Boards of investee companies of the Funds managed by SVCL.
