Recently, PRDC® has been recognized as a Research Center by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU – central university to which all the 250 odd engineering institutes of the state is affiliated), Belgaum, Karnataka, India. This gives an excellent opportunity for the scientists, research scholars, professional engineers, in-house engineers and other interested intellectuals to pursue full time / part time MSc. (Engg) by research and Ph.D programmes, to enhance their knowledge. This further leads to the contribution of sophisticated and innovative solutions for the ever-changing power industry.

PRDC® instituted a Merit Award + Cash Reward contest for power system engineers, consultants, faculty, research scholars, postgraduate and undergraduate students to promote the research activities in power sector, to meet new / upcoming challenges.
